Do I own the website when it is finished?+

After final payment, you receive the ownership and access described in your written proposal, including the agreed custom design and website content. Third-party platforms, fonts, plugins and subscriptions keep their own licence terms.

Who owns my domain?+

Your domain should be registered in your name or business account. James can help connect it without taking ownership away from you.

Do I need to already own a domain?+

No. You can receive guidance on choosing and registering one in an account you control.

Can you connect an existing domain?+

Yes. Access and DNS requirements are confirmed before launch.

Can you redesign my existing website?+

Yes. The Website Refresh package is designed for that situation.

Will my old website remain online while the new one is being built?+

Usually yes. The launch plan is agreed so the current site stays available until the replacement is ready, where the existing platform allows it.

Do I need to provide all of the text?+

Not necessarily. You can provide finished copy, rough notes or work with James to shape it.

Can you help write the website content?+

Yes. The amount of copywriting support and any extra cost are stated in the quote.

Can I supply my own photos?+

Yes. High-quality original photos are welcome and will be prepared for responsive use.

Can you help source suitable images?+

Yes. Suitable licensed or generated imagery can be discussed and priced before use.

Can I edit the website myself after launch?+

That depends on the agreed platform. Editing access and handover are confirmed before work starts.

Do you provide ongoing support?+

Yes, where agreed. You can choose a defined support arrangement or request updates when needed.

Do you provide hosting?+

Hosting can be arranged or connected. The provider, renewal cost and account owner are stated clearly in the proposal.

Can you set up business email?+

James can help plan or connect business email where suitable. Email subscriptions remain separate from the website unless specifically included.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?+

No standard assumption is made. The written quote shows the deposit, milestones and final-payment point.

How do deposits work?+

The agreed deposit secures the project and allows design and development to begin. The amount is confirmed before payment.

What happens if I do not like the first design?+

Feedback is gathered against the agreed brief, then the included revision rounds are used to refine the direction.

How many revisions are included?+

Two structured revision rounds are included in the standard packages. Any extra work is quoted before it is done.

Can you build an online shop?+

Yes, after the products, fulfilment, payment provider and ongoing responsibilities have been scoped.

Can you add booking systems?+

Yes. Existing booking services can often be integrated, or a suitable option can be recommended.

Can you add quotation forms?+

Yes. Forms can be shaped around the information you actually need from a lead.

Can you add online payments?+

Yes, using an agreed payment provider and only after fees, account ownership and the customer journey are confirmed.

Can you build websites for customers outside the UK?+

Yes. Website design is delivered remotely worldwide, including dedicated support for US customers.

How long does a normal website take?+

A typical small-business website takes around 2–4 weeks. Content readiness, feedback speed and added features can change the schedule.
